So what does it take to succeed in motorsport?

Elite racing drivers are among the fittest athletes in any sport. The G-forces that are encountered, the extreme cabin heat and the ability to concentrate and focus every millisecond of every lap are paramount to succeed in a sport where hundredths of a second separate the best drivers. Each and every day I train physically and mentally to prepare myself for these situations whilst on track, both in practice and race situations.

I work hard to quickly and efficiently process information from onboard footage and car driver delta post session with my driver coach to not only improve my personal performance but in order to evaluate the race car’s responses so I can efficiently ‘feed back’ the information to my mechanics. The team can ‘trim’ the car to make it as quick as it can be in any set of track/weather situations. This process is continuous as these parameters change by the minute.

I need to have the ability to ‘learn and move forward’ from in car situations. We can’t change the past but we can learn and mould the future.

Motorsport is a team sport. Not only does it take all of the above but it requires the best prepared and evolving race car. The best team, mechanics and logistics need to be organised in impeccable detail. Much of my time is spent contacting potential partners without whose support this journey would simply not be possible.

As a young athlete I have a skillset, dedication to hard work and control over my destiny to be the best race driver but it takes finances also.

To win races you need to test. More testing leads to better results and performances good enough to create podium results. My most significant challenge is securing a partner to join me on this journey so we can succeed together as a team. If you understand what it takes to be successful extract the very best from yourself and your situation and wish to partner me I would love to hear from you. I race to be the very best version of myself I can be, and with your help we will succeed.

Ambitions for the Future

Winning the JSCC scholarship has helped to ‘fast track’ my racing career. It has also put me in the ‘spotlight’ within motorsport, as earning your place on the grid with your developed skillset is different from buying yourself into this position.

Having had this opportunity to learn the tracks, grow with my team and hone my skills in 2025 is the perfect preparation for my podium campaign in the 2026 JSCC Championship, in my final year competing as a Junior prior to moving forward to Senior racing in 2027.

I intend to test in historic motorsport with aims to race at Goodwood and the like. Looking forward to opening doors within GT racing with an eye on Le Mans 24 hours is an important part of my focus for the future.
